This repurposed incubator turned side table is a good egg! The incubator itself is over 100 years old, and legs have been added to make it a playful country surface that could also be used as a nightstand. Buckeye brand chicken incubators were prominently displayed at 1893 World’s Fair. The glass door to open the incubator has latches on each side that hold it up, and the interior could now be used to store magazines, coffee table books, or anything else flat. Please note that this piece is significantly heavier than a typical side table. In good overall condition, rustic surface wear throughout and there is a hole slightly smaller than a tennis ball in the tabletop where the unit’s chimney used to be.
