Special Saturday Hours This Week!

Hi everyone!

Have you looking to check out the showroom but haven’t been able to make it on a weekday? Whether you’re coming to browse or pick up something you ordered online, we know it can be hard to find time during the week. If this applies to you, please mark your calendar to stop by Furnish Green this coming Saturday between 10am-6pm! We’ll be open for you to shop to your heart’s content and feel all the good vibes the showroom has to offer.

If you’re planning to take an item larger than a shopping bag with you (whether you’ve already purchased it or are in the market for something larger), please note: all items larger than a shopping bag need to go out our freight elevator, which will be open on Saturday from 10am-2pm. It closes at 2pm sharp; larger items cannot be taken out after that and will need to wait for pick-up on a different day. The commercial building that we’re located in is very strict about this, so please call or email us in advance if you have any questions about this policy.

If you’ve never been to the showroom before, it can be a little tricky to find the first time! We’re on the third floor of an office building, and the building facade is currently under construction. The entrance is two metal doors labeled 1261 that are surrounded by green construction boards, on Broadway between 31st St and 32nd St. We’re just a few blocks south of Herald Square, easily accessible by most subway lines.

We aren’t yet able to guarantee any future Saturday openings as the rapidly-changing virus situation makes it hard to know what’s coming even two weeks from now, so if you have any way to come this Saturday, we recommend it! Furnish Green is a very small team of employees (just seven people, spread across our showroom and our warehouse), and we’re doing our best to accommodate the needs of all of our customers alongside our building restrictions while still minding what’s best for the safety and well-being of our team.

While we’re on the safety topic – you will not be permitted into the showroom without a properly-worn mask on your face! We have hand sanitizer both in the showroom and in the building lobby, along with bathrooms accessible on our floor to customers. Please respect the health of our team and of the building staff as we all work to do the same for you!

Showroom Reopening on Monday, 6/22!

We’re so excited to share that starting Monday, 6/22, our showroom doors will be open again for shopping! While we love that people can shop Furnish Green’s complete inventory online from the comfort of home, we’re happy to be able to offer the option of seeing a piece in person before purchase.

Our showroom hours are Monday through Friday from 10am-6pm. We aren’t yet in a position where we can offer weekend availability. Anything larger than a shopping bag is required by our building to go out the freight elevator; please note that the freight elevator is closed between 5pm-6pm.

Never visited our showroom before? We’re located on the third floor of a commercial building at 1261 Broadway between 31st St and 32nd St. The building is currently doing construction on the facade, so the door may be a little tricky to spot, but it is in the middle of the block. It’s less than a five minute walk from the 34th St – Herald Square subway stop on the B, D, F, M, N, Q, R, and W lines (we’re also close to the A, C, E, 1, 2, and 3 lines).

Did you know that you can also schedule appointments to visit a piece or pick up your order from our warehouse? Located in East Rutherford, NJ, the warehouse is a great option for customers living in New Jersey, as well as New Yorkers who have cars and would prefer to avoid parking in Midtown Manhattan. Our warehouse team is happy to show you “Online Only” pieces on weekdays between 10am-4pm. Please email or call to schedule an appointment (same-day appointments available)!

Please follow New York’s guidance regarding safety precautions when shopping and picking up at our showroom and warehouse. Masks will be required to enter both locations. We’re a small team of six people who are adapting as we go, so feel free to reach out via email with any questions regarding our practices.

Shop Updates: Temporarily Closed!

UPDATE 6/17/21!

Hi everyone,
We just wanted to reach out with our current status surrounding COVID-19 and shopping with us while our storefront is closed with the pandemic.

Our online store at furnishgreen.com is still open and being updated with new inventory every day! As the city is currently still in Phase One of reopening, we cannot yet reopen the showroom for browsing, but are happy to help you with any questions you have while shopping or specific things you’re on the hunt for.

Once you’ve purchased, we can offer pick-up and delivery, as well as extended free storage. Purchases can be picked up from our midtown Manhattan showroom on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays every week between 12:30pm-5pm. Some items can also be picked up on weekdays from our warehouse in East Rutherford, NJ. If you’d like to have your purchase delivered, please contact us and we can get a price quote for delivery based on your location.

As always, we also offer gift certificates that can be used at a later date! If you can afford to, this is a great way to help us stay afloat during this difficult time. Furnish Green has been selling affordable and ethical vintage furniture and decor to New Yorkers for 13 years; we are a very small team of fewer than ten employees. Any purchases you make help us keep this vision alive.
