Elegant mid century speckled pecan nightstand with two drawers and brass pulls. Trim on top raised relief geometric diamond pattern, giving it a brutalist flare. Made in the 1960s by Broyhill for their Diamond Premier collection, in the style of Paul Evans. In the piece’s original description, Broyhill claims that it was “inspired by one of America’s most dramatic landmarks, Diamond Head in Hawaii. The exciting diamond head motif is reminiscent of the craggy slopes of Diamond Head as they capture the light and shelter the shadows.” How poetic! Bottom drawer is larger than top, could also be used as an end table. In good condition, some light wear throughout. Disclaimer: This piece is not available to view in-store.
