Extremely rare first edition of Harvey Washington Wiley's "The History of Crime Against the Food Law." Wiley, the first commissioner of the Food and Drug Administration, is considered the father of the Pure Food and Drug Act of 1906 (thanks for that!!!). He published this book, documenting that field, a year before his death in 1930. A seriously special book that seems to only be in university libraries or selling for $1500+. Hardcover, in very good condition for its age. *CAN SHIP VIA USPS UPON REQUEST, shipping fee paid after purchase.*
