1970s Plectron Patrol Radio

Before the advent of pagers and similar technology, Plectron patrol radios were a mainstay in homes of first responders of all sorts - from EMTs to fire and police. A radio receiver designed to offer emergency alerts and disaster warnings with selective de-squelching (so one could just leave the radio on and trust that it would only make noise when an emergency alert was being broadcast). Very cool piece of history! Does not have a tuning knob or receive normal AM/FM signals. Still seems to be functional, though we haven't picked up any alert frequencies yet.
